Actress Sridevi was born in Sivakasi in Tamilnadu state and has a cousin, Maheshwari, in Telugu cinema industry. She has two half brothers, from her father’s first marriage and was a child artist from the year 1967. She worked with actors ANR and NTR as child artist and also as heroine opposite to them. She made her mark in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Telugu and was into Hindi films as well. Actress Sridevi acted with stars like NTR, ANR, MGR, Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, superstar Krishna and was featured in super hit to blockbuster movies, produced by big banners.
As soon as she started to feel the competition, she migrated to Hindi films and acted with Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, and many more. Sridevi in the year 2004-2005 was seen on small screen TV series titled as ‘Malini Iyer’ which was on Sahara Sitcom channel. She was also seen as a judge on the TV show ‘Kaboom’ in 2005 and then was elected as a member of Board of directors for the Asian academy of film & television.
