Actress Samantha, who is also known with the name of Samantha Ruth Prabhu is born to a malayali mother and Telugu father and was brought up in Chennai. She is the youngest child in her household and has two elder brothers.
In the year 2008, Samantha was offered the role to act in the movie “Moscowin Kaveri’ which was delayed a lot and released in the year 2010. In the year 2009, Samantha was roped into the movie ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ which was also simultaneously made in Tamil as ‘ Vinnai thandi Varuvaya’ .both the movies were directed by Gautham menon.
The telugu version “ Yeme maya Chesave ‘ released with much hype and Samantha became a star overnight. She then appeared in the Telugu movie ‘Brindaavanam’ which was opposite to actor Junior NTR. The movie is declared as a commercial hit and earned immense recognition for Samantha in the Telugu film industry.
Now, she is roped into the movie titled as ‘ Dhookudu’ which is opposite to Mahesh Babu. Srinu Vaitla is directing this movie and offers a cute character for Samantha, according to her pretty face and body language.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu will also be seen in the movie titled as ‘ Kathi’ opposite to Ravi Teja soon.
